Rydel's pov
I was staring at thhese pictures of when i was a 19 year old girl. Crazy in love, living the dream of being famous. I started to cry. "hey sis. what's wrong?" Ross came into my room. "i miss this." I showed him the picture. "we left for a reason, you know that right?" He asked. "yeah." I sniffed. He pat my knee, got up, and left. "why did you do this to me?" I whispered to myself.
Ratliff's pov
4 years. 4 years ago I screwed up. 8 years ago i met the love of my life. And now I have lost her, and I may never get her back. I was a drunk 21 year old. But that was no excuse. I made the second biggest mistake of my life then. The biggest was letting her go.
But I was gonna get her back.

Rydel's pov
"RYDEL! Ratliff is right here, you don't need to rext him!" Ross said. I was recording my part for the Never Giving Up album, our 7th album. "alright, alright." I giggled. Ratliff laughed. An hour and a half later we finised, and when we got into the van, ratliff and I got in the middle row. It was an hour drive home, so i snuggled up to him and fell asleep. I awoke to "RIKER WATCH OUT!!" Coming from who knows who.
Ratliff's pov
Rydel was peacefully asleep on my chest, and as usual I was content. Until I noticed a big delivery truck run a red light. Riker slammed the breaks a second too late, and neither him or rocky were waking up. My neck snapped forward and ross slammed into the passenger seat. Ryland was ok in the back. "omigod...riker...rocky." Rydel cried. She climbed to the front. "be careful, delly, there's shattered glass everywhere." I warned. "riker and rocky both have a pulse." She said. "OW!! oh shit.." She said, holding her hand. "c'mere, put pressure on it." I said. "can you call the hospital?" I asked. "I don't think we need to." She said, gesturing towards the sirens coming out way.
Chapter 3:
Riker's pov
Beep...beep...beep. went the monitor. Cry. Cry. Cry. went rydel. Boom......boom........boom.....went my heart.
Ratliff's pov
I had whiplash and Ross had a cast on his arm. Rocky and Riker still havn't woken up and they think Rocky might've slipped into a coma. How were we going to perform? "Oh ratliff, i'm so scared." Cried rydel. "i am too baby. I am too."
Rocky's pov

Rydel's pov
My brother. My own little brother....my only big brother! It should've been me! They didn't do anything!! "rydel, look." El said, gesturing to riker whose eyes were starting to open. "Janiris, are you OK?" I asked rocky's girlfriend. "i guess..." She sniffed. I pat her knee. "what happened?" A sleepy voice asked. "riker?" I called. "yeah?" Ge responded. "riker!!" I cried, giving him a gentle hug. "what happened to rocky and I?" He asked, noticing rocky hooked up to machines as well. "A car accident...everyone else is fine." "how are we gonna perform?" Ross, who had been quiet this whole time, asked. "thats what i'm wondering..." said ryland.
Chapter 4:
Rydel's pov
After a week of sitting in the hospital, the nurses sent us home. "take care of my little brother." I said. When we got home, everyone except El and I went in the pool to get their minds off of things. "Hey el, do you think rocky will be OK?" I asked. "yeah." Silence filled the room. "so. How are you and Kelly?" I wondered. "we're...ok..." He said uncertain. "mmhmm." I said. "you know what? we're not." He said. "whats wrong?" "she hasn't texted me in weeks." He said. "well, is she away?" i asked. "no..." "oh my gosh, i'm so sorry." I hugged him. "thanks del. so, do you have your eyes on some one special?" He asked when we let go. "uh..." I started. "kinda." "ooh, who?" He asked, wiggling his eyebrows. "no one you know." I lied. I couldn't tell him it was....him. "uh-huh. sure." He said. "why can't you just tell me?" "well, he's dating some one..." I said.
Ratliff's pov
I was gonna find out who rydel liked. And then I was gonna beat him up because I wanted rydel to be mine. Kelly and I actually broke up last week, and I did it for rydel. "can you tell me the girl's name?" I asked. "uh...Melly." She responded. My heart dropped. "whats he like?" "well...he's a musician. he plays.....guitar. he's super sweet and cares about me a lot. he and his girlfriend are fighting tho." She explained. That's it, i can't take it anymore. "I have to go." i said, and went outside. "ratliff, wait!" She cried.
Chapter 5:
Ratliff's pov
I had to get away....Rydel loved some one else. I just had to ignore her. I joined everyone else in the pool. "hey dude." Said Riker. "hey, how's Kylee?" I asked. "good why?" "well my love life isn't going too great." I admitted. "what happened?" Rocky heard us and asked. "well i broke up with Kelly, to be with Rydel. but rydel likes some one else!!" I said. "what? No she doesn't." Ross said. "She told me. he plays guitar, he's super nice and sweet, his girlfriend's name is Melly, but they're fighting, and he cares about her." I said. "oh my god...." I started. the boys nodded. "rydel loves me?" I asked. "yep." Said all of them.
Rydel's pov
All I could think about was how the love of my life had run away from me....how he had ignored my cry for him to come back. "rydel?" His voice called. "h-here..." I said. "aw rydel, were you crying?" He asked. "uh..no." I said, and wiped my eyes. "don't lie." He sat next to me and put his arm around me. I rested my head on his shoulder. "I'm sorry ratliff." "it's OK." He said. i was tempted to tell him it was him i was in love with, but i'm sure the boys told him already. "so, rydel." He started. "tell me the true identity of this boy you're in love with." He smirked. I laughed. "well, he's in a band, he plays drums...and his name is Ellington Lee Ratliff." I said. He turned me around and said, "thanks for telling the truth this time." Before he kissed me.
